In Loving Memory to Our Legends

We have had a number of deaths of members in 2021. The following is a list and many are Hall of Fame members.

Please remember them and their families in your prayers.

George Barger – Head of the Barger family soccer players and Hall of Famer

John Bauerle – Great Locust Point player and Hall of Famer

Ray Ford – Former Curley and UMBC great and Hall of Famer

Lew Hess – Referee and winner of the Ray “Granny” Kraft Award

John Kraft – Father of Jeff Kraft and printed our HOF booklet for years

Mark Malloy – Great player, Coach of Jerry D’s and MSYSA executive

Bob Thumma – Former standout goalkeeper for UB and Hall of Famer

Bill Schonowski – Past President of the MD Soccer Legends and Hall of Famer

Greg Watson – Maryland Soccer Referee Administrator and Ray “Granny” Kraft Award winner.

John Houska – Loyola College, US Olympic and professional goalkeeper
